PARIS -- French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault on Sunday said the arrest of a French journalist is "completely unacceptable," demanding Turkish authorities to release him.

PARIS -- French President Francois Hollande opened a national day of commemoration one year after the terror attacks hit Paris. Commemorations were held on Sunday in the city at the places of the attacks which killed 130 people.

WELLINGTON -- New Zealand civil defense authority issued here on Monday a solid tsunami warning land threat from the East Cape to Southland including Wellington and the Chatham Islands.

CAIRO -- As many as 14 militant extremists were killed during military raids in Egypt's restive North Sinai province's two cities of Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid, the Egyptian military spokesman said in a statement on Sunday.
