Iran wins world kickboxing championship

Iran won seven golds and one bronze to top the medal table of the World Kickboxing Federation (WKF) World Championship, local TV reported on Sunday.

Argentina placed second, while France ranked third as the WKF Championship 2016 concluded in southern Italian city of Andria on Saturday.

The championship, which started on Nov. 7, has attracted the participation of Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, France, Germany, Iran, Ireland, Lebanon, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Uruguay, the United States and the hosts. Endit
