Spanish stock market falls 1.34 pct, closes at 8,639 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 1.34 percent on Friday to close at 8,639.20 points, down from the 8,756.80 points.

Share values were down 1.7 percent in the week as a whole.

Spain's risk premium started the week on 112 points to close at 114 points on Friday session and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.2 percent on Monday closing time to close at 1.5 percent on Friday.

On Friday session, Tecnicas Reunidas shares led falls losing 4.87 percent, followed by Banco Santander, ACS, ArcelorMittal, Telefonica and Repsol that lost 4.04 percent, 3.45 percent, 3.04 percent, 2.70 percent and 2.68 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Gamesa shares led rises climbing 6 percent, followed by Bankia, IAG, Banco Sabadell, R.E.C. and Endesa that rose 3.66 percent, 1.82 percent, 1.08 percent, 0.21 percent and 0.19 percent respectively. Endit
