-- Lawmakers in Zambia have adopted a private members' motion urging the government to amend the country's constitution so that it could be fine-tuned to remove existing lacunas.(Times of Zambia)

-- Chile, the world's top copper producer, says it wants to explore ways of cooperation with Zambia in reducing the cost of producing copper.

-- The African Union (AU) Peace and Security Council has come up with a roadmap aimed at "silencing the guns" by 2020 in Africa.
