HK stocks plunge over 3 pct

Hong Kong stocks Wednesday once slipped more than 600 points, or 3 percent, as early results of U.S. presidential election showed Donald Trump was gaining grounds.

Hong Kong stocks opened high Wednesday, gaining more than 100 points, but it plunged following the announcements of early results of U.S. presidential election. The market midday closed down 646 points, or 2.82 percent, at 22,262 points. Endit
