-- Former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela on Friday referred all questions about her controversial "state capture" report as well as claims made against her by Eskom CEO Brian Molefe to the current Public Protector's office.(News24).

--ANC's liberation struggle stalwart Tokyo Sexwale has appointed well-known advocate Geoff Budlender to probe allegations that Trillian Capital bosses knew about former finance minister Nhlanhla Nene's axing and were preparing to capitalize from his removal.

Sexwale, who is also Trillian Capital's non-executive chairperson, said on Friday Budlender should investigate if anyone in the company had known that President Jacob Zuma planned to fire Nene.(City Press).

--National Director of Public Prosecutions Shaun Abrahams said on Friday he will present documents relating to the National Prosecuting Authority's case against Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan to Parliament, if requested to do so.
