Minsk Int'l Film Festival "Listapad" kicks off

The 23rd Minsk International Film Festival "Listapad" started on Friday in the "Moscow" cinema in Minsk, capital of Belarus.

During six weeks Belarusian cinema goers will see 159 films from 45 countries that have already been evaluated by critics and have won international recognition.

Some directorial debuts will be presented during the festival, and 83 movies will compete for the main prize "Gold Listapad."

The slogan of this year's festival is "Towards the Inspiration." Endi
