CPC to send team to explain key session decisions

Xinhua, November 2, 2016 Adjust font size:

The Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee will send a team to explain the decisions of a key CPC meeting.

The team, consisting of senior Party and government officials, will explain the decisions and documents of the sixth plenary session of the 18th CPC Central Committee to ordinary people across the country, and answer their questions.

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, said in a written instruction to the team that they should highlight strict governance of the Party while explaining the decisions.

The team should also explain the importance of the two documents on political life within the Party and strengthening intra-Party supervision, as well as requirements for CPC officials, Xi said.

Liu Yunshan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, urged the team to lead all CPC members to closely unite around the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, which is the common will of people of all ethnic groups and in the fundamental interests of the Party and the country.

The team should also help Party members implement the decisions of the CPC Central Committee, Liu said.

The team started preparing its lectures on Wednesday and will start work on Saturday. Endi
