Indian diplomats found leading network to "destabilize Pakistan": reports

Two Islamabad-based Indian diplomats were suspected of being involved in "activities to destabilize Pakistan by facilitating and funding terrorism."

All leading TV channels quoted unmanned sources as saying on Wednesday a commercial counselor at the Indian High Commission is "leading a network" of individuals involved in "terrorist activities" in Pakistan. He has been accused of working for the Indian intelligence agency RAW.

Another Indian embassy official, who is working as the first secretary press information, is also part of the network and is working for the Indian Intelligence Bureau.

Indian High Commission's official, Surjeet Singh, who was recently expelled by Pakistan was also part of the network.

The sources said Surjeet Singh had got a fake card of a mobile phone company under the name of "Abdul Hafeez."

Last week, India and Pakistan expelled one of the other's diplomats over spying charges amid growing tensions between the two neighbors. Endit
