BiH exports see year-on-year increase of 3.61 pct in Jan-Sept

Exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) amounted to 7.12 billion KM(4.03 billion U.S. dollars) in the first nine months of this year, registering a year-on-year increase of 3.61 percent, local media reported on Tuesday.

According to data from the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH, imports in the same period reached 11.87 billion KM, up 3.59 percent compared with the same period of last year.

The European Union is the most important trade partner for BiH.

Exports to EU countries amounted to 5.16 billion KM from January to September, while imports from EU amounted to 8.35 billion KM. Endit
