British FTSE 100 decreases 0.53 pct on Tuesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Tuesday decreases by 0.53 percent, or 37.08 points, to 6,917.14 points.

Share price of Polymetal International increased by 5.33 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Fresnillo, Royal Dutch Shell B, Royal Dutch Shell A and Taylor Wimpey increased by 4.76 percent, 3.97 percent, 3.75 percent and 3.60 percent, respectively.

Standard Chartered led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 5.42 percent, following by BP (4.48 percent), Shire (2.63 percent), Smith & Nephew (2.28 percent) and Barclays (1.89 percent). Endit
