Xinhua, November 1, 2016 Adjust font size:

Global credit rating appraiser Moody's on Tuesday kept its sovereign rating on South Korea at Aa2, leaving the rating outlook at stable.

The Aa2 is the third-highest figure in the credit rater's rating tier, equaling to AA measures by Standard & Poor's and Fitch, according to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance.

Moody's has maintained the highest ever rating for South Korea since it upgraded its sovereign rating in December last year.

The rating appraiser positively assessed that South Korea actively introduced fiscal stimulus to respond to economic slowdown, reducing the country's external weakness, saying sovereign debts stay at a stable level. Endit
