Moroccan Khalil Lamsayeh claims Casablanca International Marathon

Moroccan athlete Khalil Lamsayeh on Sunday claimed the 9th Casablanca International Marathon.

Lamsayeh crossed the finish line with a time of 2 hours 14 minutes and 56 seconds, followed by Kenyans Ikero Titos at 2:15:43 and Kiprogote Douglass at 2:16:41.

In the ladies' category, Ethiopian Mika Wak Wach came in first with a time of 2:39:53, ahead of Kenyan Jipkosjil Chipinil Naoumi at 2:44:10 and Ethiopian Doubi Titsanet at 2:44:10.

Over 4,000 athletes took part in the marathon. Endit
