2 killed, 18 injured as bus collide with two cars in southern Israel

A collision between a bus full of passengers and two cars in southern Israel left two people dead and 18 wounded on Sunday evening, medical officials said.

The accident occurred near the Bedouin town of Hura in the Negev desert.

Both of the fatalities, men in their thirties, were traveling in their private cars, a spokesperson for Israel's rescue service Maged David Adom said.

The injured were evacuated to the Soroka Hospital in the nearby city of Beersheba, the spokesperson said.

A statement from the police said they are investigating the crash. Endit
