Burkina Faso rider Sorgho wins first stage of Faso race

Burkina Faso national Mathias Sorgho won the 136-kilometer first stage of the Faso cycling race on Friday.

He completed the Ouagadougou-Koupela stage in three hours, seven minutes and 49 seconds, at the speed of 43.574 km per hour. French rider Gregorz Kwiatkowski came second.

Ninety riders from 13 countries and regions participated in the 1,334-kilometer 10-stage race that will end on Nov. 6. Endit
