Sudan's foreign minister to visit China

Sudan's Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour is to visit China during Oct. 27-30 in respond to an invitation by his Chinese counterpart, official SUNA news agency reported.

"The foreign minister will meet during the visit with the Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao," Ghariballah Al-Khadir, Sudan foreign ministry spokesman, was quoted as saying.

He added that Ghandour would also hold official talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on how to upgrade the standing cooperation programs, besides joint coordination and consultation on the various regional and international issues of mutual concern.

The spokesman further said that the foreign minister's visit to China also includes meetings with African and Arab ambassadors to Beijing. Endit
