At least four people, including two police officers and a child, were injured in a bomb attack in eastern Turkey's Bingol province on Wednesday, state-run Anadolu Agency reported.

Security sources reportedly said that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists detonated a device near a police station in Kultur neighborhood of Bingol.

An operation was launched in order to apprehend the assailants in the district.

Bingol saw two other attacks by PKK this week that killed two police officers and one soldier.

The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and the European Union. Endit
