Spanish stock market rises 0.37 pct, closes at 9,173 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.37 percent on Wednesday to close at 9,173.30 points, up from the 9,139.70 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday session, IAG shares led rises climbing 6.13 percent, followed by BBVA, Gas Natural, Bankinter, Melia Hotels and Acciona that rose 2.03 percent, 1.63 percent, 1.03 percent, 0.98 percent and 0.85 percent respectively.

On the other hand, AENA shares led falls losing 2.43 percent, followed by DIA, Banco Popular, Merlin, ArcelorMittal and Mediaset that lost 2.33 percent, 2.25 percent, 1.69 percent, 1.46 percent and 1.39 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 105 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.08 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Tuesday closing time. Endit
