36 injured in cooking gas cylinder explosion in central Nepal

Thirty six people were injured on Wednesday afternoon when a cooking gas cylinder exploded at a government office building in Hetauda in central Nepal, some 80 kilometers south of Kathmandu.

The government employees, public among others were sustained injuries due to the blaze caused by the explosion at the ground floor of the Survey Office, according to the police.

Of the total injured, 24 have been back to home following the primary treatment in a local hospital in Hetauda.

"Twelve other injured people are receiving treatment in different hospitals whose condition is out of danger," Police Official Bamdev Gautam told Xinhua over the phone from the incident site. Endit
