China treasury bond futures close lower Wednesday

China's treasury bond futures closed lower on Wednesday, with the contract for settlement in December 2016 down 0.14 percent lower at 101.69 yuan (15.02 U.S. dollars).
The March 2017 contract closed 0.15 percent lower at 101.31 yuan. The June 2017 contract closed 0.19 percent lower at 101.01 yuan.
The contracts are agreements to buy or sell treasury bonds at a predetermined price and set date. They allow investors to bet on and profit from the movements in the value of the bonds.
