Hong Kong stocks closed down 39 points, or 0.17 percent, to 23,565.11 points on Tuesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 23,506.64 and 23,631.34. Turnover totaled 55.47 billion HK dollars (about 7.15 billion U.S. dollars). Endit
