Scolari renews contract with Evergrande

Luiz Felipe Scolari has signed a new contract with Chinese Super league (CSL) champions Guangzhou Evergrande, the Chinese club announced on Monday.

The 64-year-old Brazilian agreed a "1+1" deal with Evergrade, after leading the club to its sixth consecutive CSL title on Sunday.

Evergrande had signed a contract with Italian Marcello Lippi in August, but the deal was cancelled as Lippi was appointed new coach of the Chinese national team last week. Endit
