British FTSE 100 rises 0.07 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday rises by 0.07 percent, or 4.98 points, to 7,026.90 points.

Share price of Royal Bank of Scotland Group increased by 3.50 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Barclays, Standard Chartered, International Consolidated Airlines Group and Land Securities Group increased by 3.21 percent, 2.03 percent, 1.98 percent and 1.90 percent respectively.

ITV led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.67 percent, following by Sky (3.62 percent), WPP (3.57 percent), Smiths Group (2.97 percent) and Taylor Wimpey (2.46 percent). Enditem
