British FTSE 100 rises 0.31 pct on Wednesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Wednesday rose by 0.31 percent, or 21.86 points, to 7,021.92 points.

Share price of Burberry Group increased by 4.21 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Persimmon, Tesco, Wm Morrison Supermarkets and Next increased by 3.31 percent, 3.14 percent, 2.92 percent and 2.72 percent, respectively.

Travis Perkins led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 4.44 percent, following by Reckitt Benckiser Group (2.62 percent), Hikma Pharmaceuticals (1.29 percent), AstraZeneca (1.23 percent) and BT Group (1.21 percent). Endit
