Senior Chinese official welcomes more cooperation with Arkansas

Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi on Wednesday met Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, welcoming more cooperation between China and the U.S. state.

Yang said China and the U.S. should focus on mutually beneficial cooperation and manage their differences to ensure a stable bilateral relationship that moves steadily forward under the new U.S. administration.

Yang said he hoped the governor remained committed to enhancing friendly cooperation between Arkansas and China.

Hutchinson said he would work to promote cooperation, understanding and friendship between Arkansas and China. Endi
