Dollar in upper 103 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 103 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday morning, largely in line with levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 103.87-88 yen compared with 103.81-91 yen in New York and 103.98-104.00 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0974-0975 dollars and 113.99-114.01 yen against 1.0975-0985 dollars and 113.99-114.09 yen in New York and 1.1015-1016 dollars and 114.54-58 yen in late trade on Tuesday afternoon in Tokyo. Endit
