China's treasury bond futures closed higher on Monday, with the contract for settlement in December 2016 closing 0.074 percent higher at 101.880 yuan (about 15.11 U.S. dollars).

The March 2017 contract closed 0.074 percent higher at 101.600 yuan. The June 2017 contract closed 0.049 percent higher at 101.250 yuan.

The treasury bond futures were launched at the Shanghai-based China Financial Futures Exchange and started trading on Sept. 6, 2013. Enditem
