Industrial development key in China's poverty alleviation: official

Xinhua, October 16, 2016 Adjust font size:

The development of industries plays a fundamental role in Chinese government's poverty alleviation efforts, an official said Sunday at a forum.

Industrial development will help eradicate poverty by raising independent development capabilities of poverty-stricken areas and ensure the long-term effects of poverty-relief efforts, vice agricultural minister Yu Xinrong said at a forum on poverty reduction.
