Oil prices fall amid rising U.S. rigs, stronger dollar

Oil prices declined on Friday as rising oil rigs in the U.S. and a stronger greenback weighed on the market.

The West Texas Intermediate for November delivery lost 0.09 U.S. dollars to settle at 50.35 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, while Brent crude for December delivery erased 0.08 U.S. dollars to close at 51.95 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange. Enditem
