Spanish stock market rises 1.85 pct, closes at 8,767 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 1.85 percent on Friday to close at 8,767.90 points, up from the 8,608.70 points of Thursday.

Share values were up 1.67 percent in the week as a whole with Spain's risk premium closing at 107.4 points on Friday, up from the 96.80 points of Monday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closing at 1.12 percent, up from the 1.02 percent of five days ago.

On Friday session, Gamesa shares led rises climbing 3.72 percent, followed by Banco Santander, Caixabank, BBVA, IAG and Acciona that rose 3.50 percent, 3.18 percent, 2.89 percent, 2.71 percent and 2.60 percent respectively.

On the other hand, DIA shares led falls losing 2.08 percent, only followed by Amadeus that lost 0.16 percent. Endit
