Nepali president expresses condolence on demise of Thai King

Nepali President Bidya Devi Bhandari expressed condolence on the passing away of King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Friday.

In the message sent to Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, the Nepali president extended profound sadness on the demise of the highly revered Thai monarch.

Nepali Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Foreign Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat have also sent the messages of condolences to their Thai counterparts, expressing sadness over the demise of the Thai King, the ministry stated.

Thai King Bhumibol passed away Thursday after years of grave illnesses. Endit
