Oil prices decline amid OPEC-deal concerns

Oil prices fell on Tuesday following a mixed response from Russian oil industry leaders toward an output-cut deal proposed by OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries).

The West Texas Intermediate for November delivery lost 0.56 U.S. dollars to settle at 50.79 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, while Brent crude for December delivery erased 0.73 U.S. dollars to close at 52.41 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange. Endit
