Chinese team win wine-tasting world champions in France

A Chinese team have won the World Championships for wine-tasting organized by Revue du Vin de France (RFV) in France.

During the three-hour competition conducted Saturday at chateau du Galoupet, southeastern France, the candidates tasted six kinds of white wine and six kinds of red wine from different countries. They must guess the main grape variety used to produce the wine, country of production, their names, their producers and their vintages.

The Chinese team, composed of Chunxia Liu, Chen Tzu-Chien, Chen Xi, Ma Xianchen, beat 20 other teams from all over the world.

The French and U.S. teams took the second and third place respectively in the competition. Endit
