China supports Colombia's peace process: Chinese FM

Xinhua, October 5, 2016 Adjust font size:

China supports Colombia's peace process and respects the choice made by the Colombian people, said Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Tuesday.

Wang made this remark in Quito during his official visits to four Latin American countries.

To seek peace and end war in Colombia is an irresistible trend and the expectation of the people, which serves the long-term and fundamental interests of the country and people, said Wang.

China will continue to firmly support Colombia's peace process. China hopes and believes that all sides in Colombia are sure to unite to overcome difficulties, and find a path to realize ultimate peace, Wang added. Enditem
