Radwanska into third round at China Open

Polish third seed Agnieszka Radwanska powered past Russian Ekaterina Makarova in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 in their second-round meeting at the China Open here on Monday.

Radwanksa dominated the match early on, going 4-0 roughly halfway through the first set, and only slipping slightly thereafter to take it 6-3.

The world number three continued her solid play into the second set, winning 71 percent of her points on the first serve and committing only seven unforced errors to take it 6-4.

Radwanska took only 1 hour 33 minutes to dispatch her opponent and moved into the third round. Endit
