Indian markets close higher

Indian market closed with huge gain Monday. Sensex rallied once over 400 points during the afternoon session and Nifty 50 reclaimed its crucial 8700 level. Both indices have recouped most losses made last week after Indian Army's military operation at the border area.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 28,243.29, 377.33 points or 1.35 percent up compared to its previous close at 27,865.96. Endit
