Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree to draft 152,000 young Russians into the Russian army before the end of the year, the Kremlin said Friday.

The military draft will be carried out from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31 concerning Russian citizens aged 18-27 who are not in reserve and are subject to the military draft under the law "On military duty and military service," the decree said.

In accordance with the law, Putin also ordered to carry out a dismissal of current conscripts from the military service, including soldiers, sailors, sergeants and sergeant majors, whose term of service has expired. Endi
