China Caixin manufacturing PMI rebounds in Sept.

The Caixin General China Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), an indicator of manufacturing activity, rebounded slightly to 50.1 in September from 50 in August, a private survey showed Friday.

A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below 50 represents contraction.

The reading indicates the economy is stabilizing, according to the survey conducted by financial information service provider Markit and sponsored by Caixin Media Co. Ltd. Endi
