Three-bus collision injures 74 in Abu Dhabi

Xinhua, September 30, 2016 Adjust font size:

A collision involving two school buses and a public bus in Abu Dhabi on Thursday left 74 injured, including dozens of children, local media reported.

The two school buses were carrying children from a local private school and an international school in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, local daily The National said.

The paper said 25 of those injured have since been discharged from hospital.

Brig. Ali Khalfan Al-Dhaheri, director general of central operations at Abu Dhabi Police, blamed driver inattention, speeding, and two vehicles driving too close to each other for the collision. Endit
