The Albanian government on Wednesday approved a financial bill for justice reform which amounts to 1.8 billion leks (14.5 million U.S. dollars), Albanian Minister of Finance Arben Ahmetaj said in a press statement.
The package approved by Albanian government includes the increase of salaries, the number of employees involved in the justice system and costs for the establishment of new institutions, part of the constitutional package of the justice reform, Ahmetaj added.
He said the reform would have a positive influence on the Albanian economy as it will improve country's image and economic indicators.
The package of the constitutional changes for the justice reform was unanimously voted by the Albanian parliament in July 2016.
"We have said that it will take years for the reform to reflect on the Albanian economy, foreign investments, the confidence of citizens and investors," Ahmetaj said. Endit
