Greek PM "deeply saddened" by loss of Shimon Peres

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Wednesday expressed sorrow in the passing away of Israel's former president Shimon Peres.

"Deeply saddened by the loss of Shimon Peres. His commitment to peace and reconciliation in the Middle East remains as timely as ever," Tsipras posted on Twitter.

In similar statements, other Greek political leaders also bid farewell to Peres as a leader with a vision to bring peace in the Middle East. Endi
