New Zealand is to host next year's Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF), Community and Voluntary Sector Minister Jo Goodhew announced Wednesday.

Goodhew, who was a speaker at the annual forum in China's Hong Kong this month, said the forum was a global platform to share, learn and celebrate the success of social enterprises around the world.

Next year's SEWF would be held in Christchurch from Sept. 27 to 29 under the theme "Ka koroki te manu creating our tomorrow."
