China's five-year treasury bond futures opened higher on Friday, with the contract for settlement in December 2016 opened 0.03 percent higher at 101.50 yuan (about 15.15 U.S. dollars).

The contract for settlement in March 2017 opened 0.05 percent higher at 101.23 yuan. The contract for settlement in June 2017 opened at 100.90 yuan, 0.02 percent higher from the previous close.

The treasury bond futures were launched at the Shanghai-based China Financial Futures Exchange and started trading on Sept. 6, 2013. Enditem
