Spanish stock market rises 2.01 pct on Thursday

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 2.01 percent on Thursday to close at 8,934.90 points, up from the 8,758.50 points of Wednesday.

ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 5.64 percent, followed by ACS, Inditex, BBVA, Melia and Telefonica that rose 4.89 percent, 3.75 percent, 2.81 percent, 2.80 percent and 2.71 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, Caixabank shares led falls losing 3.14 percent, followed by Banco Popular and Bankinter that lost 1 percent and 0.03 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 101.60 points and Spain's 10 year-bond interest rate closed at 0.921 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with that of Wednesday. Endit
