Vietnam said Thursday that in the past year, the country had "maintained stable and positive developments and added more substance to cooperation with China."

The remark was written in Vietnam's first-ever "Diplomatic BlueBook 2015" launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in capital Hanoi.

According to the book, significant developments in Vietnam's bilateral relations with neighbor countries in 2015 included "enhancing the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, deepening Vietnam-Cambodia ties, and maintaining stable and positive developments and adding more substance to cooperation with China," among others.

Concerning border issues with neighboring countries, the book said progress was witnessed in 2015 as "Vietnam continues to maintain the exchanges on maritime issues with China."

The first-ever BlueBook of Vietnam's foreign ministry consists of six chapters, providing an overview of the international and regional situations, the foreign policy of the Vietnamese Party and State, and developments in bilateral relations in 2015 and in the past five years among others. Endit
