Morocco's Tangier Int'l Film Festival kicks off

The 9th Tangier International Film Festival kicks off on late Tuesday with the participation of some 40 short films and documentaries from around the world.

The Festival will screen some 27 short fiction films from dozens of countries including China, South Korea, Turkey, Lebanon, United States and Morocco.

As for the documentary competition, China's "the Tibetan Girl" will take part alongside 11 other documentaries.

The festival also screens a few other movies outside the official competition.

Chaired by Spanish director Jorge Dorado, the jury of this edition is composed of Egyptian actor/producer Khaled Abou Annaja, French producer Vanson Wong, Hungarian actor Daniel Horvath and Moroccan actress Nadia Alami. Endit
