The Danish national women's football team is ready for the European Championship finals in the Netherlands next summer after beating Sweden 2-0 on Tuesday night.

In the match held in Viborg in the country's Jutland peninsula, Danish striker Johanna Rasmussen first scored at the 11th minute. She took advantage of Swedish giveaways by taking a drag and put the ball in the goal with a shot outside the penalty area.

Two minutes into the second half, Nadia Nadim sent the ball into the net, securing the victory and a spot in the European Championship finals, the team's eighth since 1991. Endit
