Chinese shares close lower Tuesday

Chinese stocks closed lower Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.1 percent to close at 3,023 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.12 percent lower at 10,544.53 points. The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was down 0.31 percent to close at 2,158.43 points. Endi
