Chinese Premier Li Keqiang is expected to chair a symposium on sustainable development while attending the 71st session of the UN General Assembly, and to offer the Chinese measures to help promote the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen on Monday thanked China for agreeing to double rice import quota, saying the quota increase clearly reflected China's intention to helping Cambodia.
Speaking to more than 1,300 graduates at the Panha Chiet University here, Hun Sen said at his request, China has recently agreed to increase its rice imports from Cambodia to 200,000 tons for the harvest season 2016-2017, from 100,000 tons. (Cambodia-China-Rice)

JAKARTA -- Member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and China have been boosting partnership in the course of implementing the 2030 sustainable development agenda in the region, officials said on Monday.
Vongthep Arthakaivalvatee, deputy secretary-general of ASEAN for Socio-Cultural Community, said the successful implementation of the 2025 vision and the 2030 agenda will be the key determining factor in the group's move to its community integration process which was formally launched in last December.
