Wang wins 50m freestyle S8 gold in Rio

China's Wang Yinan secured his fifth Paralympic gold medal on Friday by winning the 50m freestyle S8 final.

The 26-year-old clocked 26.24 seconds to beat Ukraine's Bohdan Hrynenko by 0.43sec at the Olympic Aquatics Stadium.

Iurii Bozhynskyi, also of Ukraine, grabbed bronze in 26.75.

Wang also triumphed in the 100m freestyle S8 final here to go with the three gold medals he won at the London 2012 Games. Endit
